Their deal is that they're half-sisters who are like twins (kind of). She didn't actually hatch them, Thorax did. Because they were hatched later, they are younger than Flurry Heart. It took most of her energy to lay these two and even longer to be able to hatch them (they stayed in stasis after she laid them). Seeing how she kidnapped Cadence, brainwashed Shining Armor, it made sense that she'd have created a couple of eggs with their dna. While driving to a petsitting job, I was thinking about Shining Armor, Cadence, and Chrysalis.
